With over 25 years of experience working with children, young people, marginalised and vulnerable groups, Becky has dedicated her career to creating opportunities and opening doors for those who need it most. Her work spans the health sector, local authority, education, the youth, the third sector, and the private sector, reflecting a deep and sustained commitment to equity and inclusion.
Specialising in widening access and participation, inclusion work and tackling domestic abuse, Becky has always been committed to levelling the playing field and enabling individuals to realise and reach their full potential. She believes strongly in the power of social justice and the role of evidence and data in driving meaningful, lasting change. As someone who was the first in their family to attend university (as well as meeting many other WP criteria), Becky understands firsthand some of the barriers that others can face and uses that insight to inform and inspire her work. Becky spent 10 years in an abusive relationship whist climbing the career ladder and working in a senior leadership roles, she is acutely aware of the impact that employers can have, in supporting their workforce through DA.
Becky‘s early years in work were spent as a youth worker, supporting young people from a range of backgrounds in informal education settings, Becky then went on to gain a Master’s in Public Health, Health Promotion and Public Health, Coaching Qualifications and become a certified Freedom Facilitator. Becky posses a unique mix of skills, experiences, knowledge and lived experiences that enable her to work with organisations cby combining lived experience, empathy and professional expertise, striving to create more inclusive and supportance systems for future generations, creating real change that enables both people and organisations to thrive.
Becky’s most important role is being a mum and she loves nothing more than going to theme parks and gigs with her children, walking her dogs and hanging out with her friends.
